Regional Sales Manager BDCN, Sales

RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES

You are responsible for the overall sales performance of both fabric and cover sales by developing and implementing sales strategies for BekaertDeslee within your assigned region.

Main responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

  • You are a proactive and dynamic sales manager with focus on business development and continuity
  • You are responsible for exploring and expanding our commercial activities
  • You prepare and implement your sales budget
  • You follow-up and analyze all important performance metrics like turnover, margin, stocks, AR, next to others
  • You report sales results and go the extra mile to ensure the set sales objectives will be realized
  • You partner with existing/potential customers to understand business needs and objectives to ensure long-term success built on trust
  • You map out market evolutions and market position of the competition to ensure that we can anticipate on commercial opportunities. You remain up to date on industry news
  • You explore new opportunities and potential/strategic customers, ultimately convert them into clients and continue to grow the business
  • You ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients
  • You stimulate collaboration and teamwork. You build the bridge from the market to the internal organization by working closely together with the sales team and all supporting departments
  • You present sales contracts and you oversee consistent pricing and correctness of outgoing quotations while ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • You expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
  • You are open minded to continuously improve through feedback and actively share best practices

Professional qualifications and experience:

  • Desired education level: Master in business administration, sales or another relevant field
  • Desired work experience: Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record as Sales Manager or similar position in a B2B environment, preferably in textiles and/or mattress associated relevant field. Affinity with colors and fashion is a plus.
  • Competencies: Enthusiastic, service oriented, dynamic, team player, social skills
  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Technical skills: Working knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software (SAP/CRM)
  • You are located in China, Wuxi and willing to travel (min. 50% of your time)
  • Attentiveness and accuracy are highly required
  • A large degree of stress resistance is needed
  • Ability to distinct colors
