Key responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned area
- identify local business opportunities and challenges
- Present, recommend and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Answer customer questions about features, pricing and other matters
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
- Present our products and services to prospective customers
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Closely work with other internal teams (Design, Customer Service, R&D, Production, Finance) to meet individual and group sales targets
- Collaborate with sales managers from different regions to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
- Grow a commercial network by representing the company on fairs in your region
Profile
- Higher Education Degree in business administration, sales or other relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar position in a B2B environment, in textiles or associated relevant field
- Affinity with textiles, colors and fashion.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Hands-on experience in sales
- Team player and service-oriented
- Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software (e.g. SAP)
- Willing to travel in Asia for 50% of your time
