Quality Manager, Other
Location: Mexico, Ixtacuixtla, Tlaxcala

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, process improvement, and team leadership. The Quality Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our quality management system, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and manage the quality organization to enable a high-performance team, thus effective implementation of the quality management system, continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report to senior management on the status of the quality management system and quality performance.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system that meets or exceeds applicable regulatory and industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create strong and effective relationships with customer and suppliers.
  • Manage and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints and quality issues.
  • Ensure Quality Awareness throughout the organization.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to the quality team and other employees as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives and process improvements.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or quality management
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality management role
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, TS), regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification or demonstrated experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a Quality organization.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and error proofing knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient Spanish and English – written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics – Excel - PowerBI
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • CQE, CQM or Six Sigma, Lean, or other continuous improvement certifications preferred
