Sales Manager

Key responsibilities are:

  • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned area
  • identify local business opportunities and challenges
  • Present, recommend and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Answer customer questions about features, pricing and other matters 
  • Cross-sell products, when appropriate 
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction 
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
  • Present our products and services to prospective customers
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Closely work with other internal teams (Design, Customer Service, R&D, Production, Finance) to meet individual and group sales targets
  • Collaborate with sales managers from different regions to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
  • Grow a commercial network by representing the company on fairs in your region

Profile :

  • Higher Education Degree in business administration, sales or other relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar position in a B2B environment, in textiles or associated relevant field
  • Affinity with textiles, colors and fashion.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills 
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills 
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Hands-on experience in sales
  • Team player and service-oriented
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software (e.g. SAP)
  • Willing to travel in Asia for 50% of your time
